Base Salary
$59k - $99k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and review portions of specifications for simple system components.
- Complete simple bug fixes and resolve basic technical issues.
- Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under senior-engineer guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across development environments.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic tools to accelerate software development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and maintainability.
- Learn and adopt emerging AI development tools and practices.
Requirements
- Be on track to receive a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Have proficiency in at least one relevant programming language or technology, such as Angular, C#, Java, JavaScript, JSP, C, C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, or .NET.
- Have a basic understanding of software development methodologies, storage systems, and data modeling principles.
- Have basic knowledge of AI-assisted and agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or similar tools.
- Be interested in using AI-assisted development workflows to generate, refine, test, and debug code while applying sound engineering practices.
- Demonstrate interest in technology, willingness to learn, collaboration, and solid communication skills.
