Base Salary
$220k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product security roadmap based on risk and business impact.
- Establish and evolve security posture across the engineering organization.
- Partner with teams to incorporate secure design principles in development.
- Own and review security-critical code, including authentication and access control.
- Architect secure-by-default libraries and tools for developers.
- Drive mitigation strategies during security-related incident responses.
- Mentor engineers and enhance security practices through reviews and guidance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product security or security-focused software engineering.
- Proven track record of identifying and remediating software vulnerabilities.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional security initiatives.
- Strong programming skills with experience in writing production software.
- Excellent communication skills for translating security risks to non-security stakeholders.
