Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for installation and support of cloud software and services supporting production implementations.
- Automate infrastructure and cloud services using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design cloud services and enterprise architectures that address business, performance, security, governance, and cost requirements.
- Monitor metrics and logs, respond to alerts, troubleshoot systems, and support day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations.
- Advise architecture and development teams on cloud versus on-premises environments and assist with on-premises cloud migration evaluations.
- Build highly redundant environments supporting performance, uptime, scalability, and business continuity.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, technical procedures, operations manuals, and best-practice guidance.
- Educate teams on new cloud initiatives and support requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 5 years of cloud infrastructure and software engineering experience.
- Experience with enterprise network design, segmentation, encryption, logging, monitoring, firewalls, network authentication controls, and Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, and CloudTrail.
- Experience with Azure and/or GCP, enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or Google Gemini Enterprise, and multi-cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Automation, application build and deployment automation, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Git-based products, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of cloud security architectures for cloud and hybrid systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare, government, finance, or another regulated industry is preferred.
