Base Salary
$180k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement bare-metal software applications for power electronics.
- Develop and optimize drivers for microcontroller peripherals.
- Collaborate with power electronics controls engineers to translate controls theory into code.
- Maintain robust software build procedures and scripts.
- Profile and optimize code across multi-core environments.
- Take embedded systems from prototype to mass-market production.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 2+ years of experience in firmware engineering.
- Expert proficiency in Rust or C with experience debugging embedded systems.
- Extensive experience with ARM Cortex-M and Cortex-R architectures.
- Deep understanding of power-specific software requirements.
- Experience implementing functional isolation in multi-core software environments.
- Practical experience with digital communication protocols.
- Knowledge of software build systems and CI/CD.
