Base Salary

$130k - $140k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain core backend services and APIs powering product features.
Develop shared platform components for frontend and backend applications.
Build and improve data pipelines and platform integrations.
Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, automated testing, feature flags, logging, metrics, and telemetry.
Partner with product and design to turn requirements into technical designs.
Document platform capabilities and APIs for other engineering teams.

Proficiency in Python and SQL for services and data work.
Understanding of frontend/backend web application architecture and API design.
Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, telemetry patterns, and collaborative Git workflows.
Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and write clean, well-typed, tested, maintainable code.
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of development experience involving backend services, platform engineering, or data pipelines.
Preferred familiarity with React, TypeScript, feature flags, and financial products.

Hybrid work arrangement with 18 remote workdays per quarter, subject to manager approval.
