Base Salary
$111k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-based software solutions for customer, internal, and partner systems.
- Participate in planning, requirements, development, unit testing, code reviews, and design reviews across the software development life cycle.
- Deploy and support production services, including monitoring system health, handling incidents, and participating in an on-call rotation.
- Create automated tests and deployment processes integrated with continuous integration tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help define and scope user stories.
- Apply security, scalability, cost, and performance best practices to service initiatives.
- Use generative AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Google Gemini in the development workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with server-side development languages and frameworks such as JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js or Java with SpringBoot.
- Experience developing and deploying software with at least one public cloud platform, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and coding, JSON, and API development.
- Exposure to software teams using agile methodologies.
- Preferred experience with AWS components including ElastiCache, RDS, EC2, Lambda, and cloud networking.
- Preferred hands-on experience developing and deploying containerized services with Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with service health and performance data, connected devices at scale, authentication and authorization, REST-based web services, SQL and NoSQL data modeling, search engines, and data pipelines.
- Preferred experience integrating GitHub Copilot or other generative AI coding assistants into development workflows.
