Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend and middleware services.
- Contribute to software architecture and distributed-system design with senior colleagues.
- Write efficient code for large-scale data processing and implement low-latency solutions.
- Instrument, monitor, log, and debug production services.
- Build and support global B2B integrations with partners and clients.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and maintainability improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical background.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable software engineering role.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with .NET/C# or similar C-based languages, or willingness to learn .NET.
- Hands-on experience or strong conceptual understanding of microservices and distributed communication.
- Fluency with Git and comfort using a terminal; PowerShell or Bash experience is useful.
- Commitment to clean code, documentation, automated testing, security, and privacy principles.
- Strong conversational English skills and ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
