Responsibilities
- Evolve authentication and authorization microservices architecture across the Farfetch ecosystem.
- Develop tools, frameworks, and libraries that improve engineering department productivity.
- Coach development teams on engineering best practices and use of provided tools.
- Monitor, maintain, and support existing services, tools, and libraries.
- Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers and Data, Product, and Security teams on technical roadmaps and solutions.
- Assess the technical feasibility of project scope with other teams.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C#/.NET, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization processes using OAuth/OpenID.
- Knowledge of testing strategies and commitment to code quality.
- Ability to make important technical decisions autonomously.
- Interest or experience in distributed and large-scale systems.
- Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases.
- Written and spoken English proficiency.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is a plus.
