Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop proofs of concept for RAG, agentic workflows, operational optimization, energy forecasting, predictive maintenance, and process optimization.
- Build and deploy scalable AI/ML models and integrate LLM capabilities through provider APIs and SDKs.
- Implement MLOps pipelines, RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding strategies, retrieval pipelines, and LLM observability.
- Create interactive prototypes and demos using Streamlit or React.
- Lead successful prototypes into production-grade applications with monitoring, logging, alerting, governance, and compliance practices.
- Gather requirements and present technical concepts and ROI analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Train and support end users on AI-powered tools and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in ML or data engineering, including recent production LLM or RAG work.
- Demonstrated experience taking AI projects from proof of concept to production.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI or similar enterprise AI workflow systems and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, or CrewAI.
- Hands-on Model Context Protocol experience and proficiency integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar LLM APIs and SDKs.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG systems with vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval optimization.
- Experience building interactive applications with Streamlit, Hex, or similar tools.
- Advanced GitHub or GitLab workflows and expertise in Python, SQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization, data engineering, ETL, and data governance.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, time series forecasting, predictive analytics, prompt engineering, function calling, distributed systems, microservices, API design, data security, privacy, compliance, and AI evaluation.
- Preferred qualifications include renewable energy or utilities experience, computer vision, AI evaluation frameworks, EMS, SCADA, industrial IoT, energy-sector data, energy markets, grid operations, regulatory frameworks, Modal, and relevant Snowflake, cloud, or energy certifications.
