Responsibilities
- Support production and non-production JO and Analytics environments across regions and troubleshoot incidents with peers and TechOps.
- Build and maintain Bash and Python scripts and small tools for deployments, diagnostics, data and operations workflows, and toil reduction.
- Contribute to Azure DevOps pipelines, Terraform-managed AWS resources, and Kubernetes workloads.
- Operate monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, and improve dashboards and runbooks.
- Coordinate releases and customer-impacting work with Development, Professional Services, and Support.
- Write runbooks, READMEs, and system handoffs while proposing safer and faster operational practices.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, SRE, or platform engineering, or equivalent depth through production work.
- Hands-on experience delivering a cloud-based SaaS or PaaS product across multiple environments with customer-facing impact.
- Demonstrable Bash and Python experience for operational or automation tasks.
- Production AWS experience with services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, and RDS.
- Practical Terraform experience, including modules and Git workflows; Ansible is a plus.
- Experience building or maintaining pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Docker experience is required, with Kubernetes or EKS exposure strongly preferred.
- On-call or production support experience and structured troubleshooting in distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Preferred qualifications include GitOps with Argo CD or Flux, Helm, Kustomize, AlertManager, log aggregation, SLI/SLO thinking, ETL or streaming pipelines, and security and compliance awareness.
