Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed within customer engineering teams and translate business requirements into technical designs for AI-enabled production systems.
- Build and deploy production AI applications involving retrieval pipelines, workflow automation, API orchestration, data integration, foundation models, and customer systems.
- Own the full software lifecycle for assigned workstreams, including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, evaluations, guardrails, and CI/CD.
- Troubleshoot production incidents across AI models, distributed systems, and application services and resolve root causes.
- Mentor and train new team members, participate in code reviews, and coach others on high-quality software development.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer AI adoption and create reusable deployment patterns and accelerators.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and working in a highly agile environment.
- Experience with agentic and spec-driven development, AI evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Current US government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or higher; the selected candidate must be a US citizen.
- Preferred experience with AWS Services, customer production environments, production AI/ML applications, customer-facing technical projects, and scalable end-to-end production systems.
- Preferred prior experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Go, or a background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder.
