Base Salary
$194k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a new system for orchestrating Zero Trust Segmentation at the application and pod level in container ecosystems.
- Understand and enhance modern container platforms including Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and GKE.
- Own and design critical features and subsystems, including detailed designs presented to peers.
- Deliver elegant, scalable, stable, secure, supportable, and production-ready implementations.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Work with field teams and key customers to shape the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems is required.
- Proficiency in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python, or Java is required.
- Experience with large, distributed, and scalable software systems is required.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and related technologies is required.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging are required.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge is required.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment is required.
