Base Salary
$241k - $361k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of high-impact web applications and serve as the primary steward for Tier-0 Fleet Management, Auth, and Core API services.
- Ensure foundational services for Carbon’s global printer network remain resilient and highly available.
- Lead the evolution of front-end infrastructure and the cloud platform using scalable database architectures.
- Build a Web-to-Edge bridge capable of handling next-generation additive-manufacturing data demands.
- Drive technical excellence in React, modern front-end architecture, state management, and high-performance rendering with Three.js.
- Own major technical initiatives end to end, from whiteboarding through production, and define the long-term architectural roadmap.
- Translate customer needs into robust software designs and provide design reviews, architectural advocacy, and hands-on mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent, or a higher degree, in computer science and engineering.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of a modern programming language such as Node, TypeScript, C++, Golang, Python, or Java.
- Expertise working with large-scale distributed systems and data pipelines.
- Expertise building and scaling APIs.
- Strong communication, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
