Responsibilities
- Develop Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality through sprint stories using Gosu and Guidewire Studio.
- Implement batches, UI changes, message queues, web service integrations, page configuration changes, and unit tests.
- Support testing stories by designing or executing testing plans.
- Triage tickets, troubleshoot production issues, review logs, fix bugs, and participate in on-call support.
- Present technical work during code reviews and sprint reviews to developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Build APIs and digital applications using MuleSoft, React, or Node.js.
Requirements
- Experience working in a production environment.
- Experience with an Agile development team or understanding of Agile concepts.
- Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Guidewire Studio.
- Prior Guidewire experience, particularly Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations and configuration, is preferred.
- Experience with MuleSoft, React or Node.js, Postman, SOAP, and REST is helpful.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts and present to groups of 20 or more people.
- Ability to meet frequent deployment deadlines and participate in on-call support.
