Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise application features and enhancements using Java and Angular.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions with stakeholders and product owners.
- Participate in application development, testing, rollout, support, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Measure, analyze, and optimize application performance and throughput.
- Maintain software quality through unit and regression testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Coordinate with multiple Agile/Scrum teams to achieve timely deliveries.
- Communicate technical designs and plans to business partners and subject matter experts.
- Support mission-critical applications and learn technologies needed across the organization’s systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency with object-oriented programming and technologies including Java, Struts, MVC, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, and Angular.
- Extensive experience building custom software applications.
- Experience with software engineering best practices covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Understanding of enterprise application software patterns.
- Experience developing and supporting mission-critical 24x7 systems.
- Strong written, verbal, listening, communication, and teamwork skills.
