Responsibilities
- Develop Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality in Gosu and Studio, including batches, UI changes, message queues, integrations, page configuration, and unit tests.
- Build APIs and digital application features using Java, JavaScript, MuleSoft, React, and Node.js.
- Integrate with web services and work with Postman and related service interfaces.
- Triage tickets, review logs, troubleshoot production issues, fix bugs, and participate in on-call support.
- Design or execute testing plans and support testing stories.
- Complete development work during two-week Agile sprints and meet deployment deadlines.
- Present work during code reviews and sprint reviews to developers, product owners, stakeholders, and larger technical forums.
Requirements
- Experience working in a production environment is required.
- Experience with Agile teams or understanding of Agile concepts is required.
- Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Studio is expected.
- Experience with Guidewire, particularly PolicyCenter integrations and configurations, is preferred.
- Experience with MuleSoft, React, Node.js, Postman, and web service integrations is helpful.
- Ability to participate in on-call support, troubleshoot issues, and meet frequent deployment deadlines.
- Ability to speak and present technical concepts clearly to groups of 20 or more people.
