Responsibilities
- Develop Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality through sprint stories and frequent deployments.
- Code in Gosu and Studio, including batches, UI changes, message queues, web-service integrations, page configuration files, and unit tests.
- Design or execute testing plans and support testing stories.
- Triage production tickets, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, review logs, and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Present work during code reviews and sprint reviews to developers, product owners, stakeholders, and larger forums.
Requirements
- Production-environment development experience is required.
- Prior Guidewire experience, especially PolicyCenter integration and configuration experience, is strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Guidewire Studio is required.
- Experience using MuleSoft to build APIs and React or Node.js for digital applications is needed.
- Understanding of Postman, SOAP, REST, and web-service integration is helpful.
- Experience with Agile teams or Agile concepts and the ability to present complex technical concepts are expected.
