Senior Software Engineer - New Customer Experience

Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the end-to-end experience for new customers discovering, evaluating, onboarding, and gaining value from Pantheon’s platform
- Build and maintain Python services and the GraphQL gateway
- Develop and support authentication and authorization systems using Auth0
- Work with infrastructure managed through Terraform on Google Cloud
- Collaborate with nearly every department on the new customer experience initiative
- Build reliable, well-tested products and support stable deployments
- Contribute to technical documentation and drive projects through completion
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of professional software development experience
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Proven ability to independently solve problems and drive projects to completion
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems, including Auth0
- Passion for continuous learning across a diverse technical stack
- Ability to build new features and advance product capabilities
- Careful and meticulous approach to reliability, testing, and stable deployments
- Good writing skills for contributing to technical documentation
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
