Responsibilities
- Lead automation of engineering lifecycle processes, including AI-assisted release management, dependency updates, and CVE remediation.
- Optimize CI and release health, development velocity, build efficiency, and engineering workflows using metrics.
- Implement CI strategy and engineering best practices across the Engineering organization.
- Identify workflow friction and build automated, self-sustaining systems in partnership with software engineers, engineering leaders, and stakeholders.
- Own and improve engineering processes and codebase operations in a platform-like environment.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with a track record of delivering results, preferably in Java.
- Backend or full-stack specialization.
- Experience optimizing CI/CD, dependency management, release processes, metrics collection, build efficiency, and engineering operations.
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Maven, Docker, and Shell or Python automation in complex projects such as monorepositories.
- Experience with developer experience tools, process optimization, and driving AI adoption.
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills and experience delivering impactful solutions in platform-like environments.
- Comfort with taking ownership of how software is deployed and operated and with a you-build-it-you-run-it mindset.
- Experience designing efficient cross-team operations is preferred.
- Practical experience with Camunda or other BPMN systems is preferred.
