Responsibilities
- Architect and implement endpoint security solutions including EDR/EPP, vulnerability management, DLP, and AI Security.
- Drive adoption and integration of endpoint visibility and security tools across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing for security configurations, policies, and emerging technologies.
- Administer endpoint security platforms, including agent health, console performance, and enterprise integrations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot endpoint security issues, agent connectivity disruptions, policy conflicts, and exclusion lists.
- Serve as an escalation point for endpoint-related incidents.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, DevOps, SOC, compliance, and risk management teams.
- Align endpoint security policies with organizational and regulatory frameworks.
- Create security playbooks, runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Support cybersecurity awareness, knowledge sharing, and mentorship for IT and incident response teams.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging endpoint attack tactics and security technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of endpoint security engineering experience and 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
- Experience with endpoint security tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Qualys, and Proofpoint.
- Proficiency designing, deploying, optimizing, configuring, and troubleshooting EDR systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows, including OS-level hardening and policy compliance.
- Experience with container and workload deployments such as Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, and GKE Autopilot.
- Knowledge of file integrity monitoring and policy compliance.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards including NIST, SOX, CIS benchmarks, and FedRAMP.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI infrastructure.
- Preferred scripting experience with Shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Zsh.
- CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or vendor-specific endpoint-tool certifications are advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
