Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of significant software features and projects.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Build, comment, unit test, and end-to-end test user interface programs, modules, and components.
- Maintain and support existing user interface applications and investigate complex technical issues and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, debug products, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and contribute to software architecture and process improvements.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through clear code, comments, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least eight years of software development experience, including strong back-end Java experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- At least two years of front-end or UI engineering experience with React and modern front-end tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and training.
- Experience building consumer web application interfaces and working in a full-stack environment.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, ES6, software architecture, design principles, debugging, and problem solving.
- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, SSO, Spring Security, Oracle, MySQL, SQL, CRUD, Hibernate, JPA, and ORM.
- Experience writing UI unit tests with Jest, Chai, Mocha, or React Testing Library and end-to-end tests with Selenium.
- Experience with browser APIs and front-end performance optimization.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, effective technical communication, and leadership skills.
- AWS architecture, EKS, ECS, Git, Maven, Hudson or Jenkins, D3, web service development, and A/B testing experience are preferred or advantageous.
