Responsibilities
- Lead customer technical projects delivering production-grade systems, reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion, and ML/AI integrations.
- Design and deploy secure, scalable, end-to-end data architectures and applications.
- Guide customer architecture and design decisions and support successful Databricks evaluation, adoption, and implementation.
- Embed with customer teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and translate complex technical challenges into actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with Databricks engineering, product, support, project managers, architects, and customer teams to deliver engagements and resolve issues.
- Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, best practices, and product roadmap feedback.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics, or software engineering.
- Ability to write code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
- Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems among AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in at least one.
- Deep distributed computing experience with Apache Spark, including knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
- Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, AI APIs, and CI/CD for production deployments.
- Experience designing and deploying performant production data architectures and applications combining data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
- Experience with technical project delivery, scope and timeline management, documentation, whiteboarding, enterprise clients, and stakeholder conflict management.
- Databricks Certification is required.
- Curiosity, adaptability, customer empathy, and willingness to explore technologies supporting Databricks-based solution deployment and integration.
