Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to streamline developer workflows, reduce friction, and improve developer experience.
- Apply Lean principles and Value Stream Mapping to optimize processes and eliminate waste.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation with a developer-first approach.
- Improve developer onboarding and enablement to create smooth, efficient setup experiences.
- Drive implementation of developer productivity tools including IDEs, code repositories, build systems, and artifact management solutions.
- Define and track DORA and SPACE developer experience metrics and use insights to drive improvements.
- Introduce and integrate AI-powered tools for code assistance, automated testing, and intelligent workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams on cohesive developer-focused solutions.
- Lead client workstreams, projects, proposals, RFPs, bids, and proposition development.
- Contribute to practice growth, thought leadership, internal initiatives, recruitment, and offering development.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, developer tooling ecosystems, common developer tools, and version control systems.
- Experience with developer onboarding and enablement programs.
- Familiarity with developer experience metrics and using insights to deliver measurable improvements.
- Exposure to AI tools for developer experience and emerging developer productivity trends.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently on small projects and contribute to larger transformation programs.
- Security Check clearance eligibility, including continuous residence in the United Kingdom for the last five years.
- Willingness to remain fully flexible on assignment location and travel away from home at short notice.
