Base Salary
$122k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues across RTL, EDA frontend tools, automation infrastructure, and design environments.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-assisted CAD/EDA automation, tools, and workflows for RTL design and verification.
- Build software and scripts supporting RTL builds, simulation, verification, emulation, regression, and static sign-off.
- Develop CI/CD and regression automation for hardware development workflows.
- Analyze workflow and infrastructure data to improve performance, reliability, compute utilization, and engineering efficiency.
- Collaborate with RTL, verification, CAD, infrastructure, and EDA vendor teams to resolve technical issues and improve methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science plus 3+ years of experience, or a master's degree in one of those fields plus 1+ year of educational or work experience.
- Linux experience with shell scripting.
- Python, Perl, or C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with RTL/verification CAD tools and debugging across RTL, automation flows, and software/tool interactions.
- Preferred experience with VC_SpyGlass, VCS, Questasim, coverage and low-power tools, CAD/EDA automation, simulation and emulation flows, verification integration, and CI/CD.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, RTL build and simulation/verification workflows, EDA vendors, cloud compute, hardware DevOps, monitoring/alerting, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
