Base Salary
$84k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define test strategies, test plans, test conditions, scripts, data sets, and quality metrics.
- Perform manual testing and UI/API automation testing for Amazon Connect applications.
- Improve test coverage and identify, review, and fill gaps in existing automation.
- Represent customers by incorporating relevant end-to-end user scenarios into test plans and automation.
- Establish QA processes and practices and help define requirements for new testing scripts, tools, and automation.
- Test applications and services leveraging AWS technologies including SageMaker, Forecast, Athena, QuickSight, Glue, and Bedrock.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
- At least 1 year of quality assurance engineering, QAE, SDET, or SDE experience.
- At least 1 year of experience driving quality across an organization through a holistic plan rather than test execution alone.
- At least 1 year of experience with QA methodologies, software testing techniques, and testing tools.
- Experience with manual testing and UI/API automation testing using Selenium and SOAPUI.
- Experience gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining quality metrics.
- Preferred experience executing and maintaining black-box test cases and designing test conditions, scripts, and data sets.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
