Base Salary
$85k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Verify that software performs as designed.
- Document test results and their implications.
- Plan and implement new test strategies.
- Safeguard and improve the quality of core software products.
- Communicate technical results and ideas through documentation and conversations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another engineering or science discipline, or completion of a software development boot camp.
- 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Understanding of core programming concepts and basic proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Understanding of software testing concepts and methodology.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate technical topics.
- Must be a US person: a US citizen, US national, or Green Card holder.
- Preferred: proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestRail, React Testing Library, or Postman.
- Preferred: proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
- Preferred: experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred: exposure to machine learning and data science concepts or tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or sklearn.
- Preferred: experience delivering technology solutions in secure government environments.
- Preferred: eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret-or-higher US security clearance, or an active qualifying clearance.
