Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data/JPA.
- Build scalable backend services, business workflows, secure integrations, and independently deployable services.
- Integrate services using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Deploy containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Use Jenkins, Bitbucket, Helm, and Terraform to support CI/CD, deployment, and infrastructure workflows.
- Develop AI-enabled capabilities using Spring AI, LLM services, agentic workflows, and vector search.
- Build services for content ingestion, document processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Support automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and production-quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on Java experience.
- Strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA, and enterprise application development.
- Experience designing and developing production-grade backend services and APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Spock, or equivalent frameworks.
- Understanding of Git-based development, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
