Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing surfaces and drive measurable improvements in conversion, activation, and retention.
- Own customer problems from framing and technical validation through shipping and production operation.
- Work across the stack when necessary to deliver cohesive user solutions.
- Instrument, monitor, and improve frontend performance, reliability, and observability.
- Set frontend platform architecture and technical direction while making user-impact and complexity tradeoffs explicit.
- Partner with product management, design, and analytics to test hypotheses and prototype quickly.
- Champion AI developer workflows and establish practical standards and guardrails for agentic coding.
- Mentor frontend engineers and establish best practices for code quality, reusable design components, and scalable frontend systems.
Requirements
- Strong fluency in React Native and familiarity with the full app release cycle, test automation, on-device performance, and platform UX conventions.
- Strong fluency in React and TypeScript, with a solid foundation in web performance and distributed frontend architectures.
- Ability to create coherent user experiences and make early design decisions without a designer in the loop.
- Strong product mindset with data- and user-evidence-based decision-making.
- Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools and agents, including contextual prompting, boundaries, and validation of generated code.
- Demonstrated ownership, delivery focus, and ability to make rigorous tradeoffs between customer needs and engineering complexity.
