Base Salary
$86k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure and shared platform services for digital workloads.
- Implement and maintain Azure landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, access management, and governance.
- Build reusable Azure PaaS, container, managed-service, deployment, and paved-road platform capabilities.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automate environment provisioning, configuration, and policy enforcement.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and foundational DevOps, automation, and internal platform tooling.
- Apply security-by-design principles covering identity, networking, encryption, secrets management, auditability, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, traceability, operational controls, and resilience practices.
- Partner with engineering, data engineering, security, risk, and technology leadership teams on architecture reviews, risk assessments, audits, and enterprise platform adoption.
- Drive large projects and provide technical leadership for horizontal capabilities across the enterprise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering leadership, or infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience engineering and operating Microsoft Azure solutions in large-scale or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure platform engineering, networking, identity, access management, governance, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using GitHub Actions, ARM, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Experience creating reusable deployment frameworks, foundational automation, internal platform tooling, or shared services for development teams.
- Familiarity with IAM models, role definitions, and least-privilege access patterns.
- Experience with Azure API Management or similar API gateway solutions, including secure service exposure, rate limiting, and API lifecycle management.
- Preferred experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, operational dashboards, SRE concepts, SLIs, SLOs, and resilience patterns.
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale Azure platforms and partnering with technology teams and leaders.
