Responsibilities
- Develop Generative AI use cases for procurement, including contract summarization, clause extraction, RFx document generation, supplier risk insights, spend classification, and query-based analytics.
- Build and enhance procurement copilots and chatbots for business users.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines using procurement documents and enterprise datasets.
- Work with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Vertex AI, and AWS Bedrock, applying prompt engineering and embeddings.
- Integrate data from ERP systems and procurement platforms, including structured and unstructured contracts, invoices, and vendor data.
- Fine-tune and evaluate models, improve response quality, reduce hallucinations, and implement feedback loops.
- Develop APIs and microservices for AI integration and deploy scalable solutions on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Use vector databases and collaborate with procurement stakeholders and product teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Contribute to proofs of concept, innovation initiatives, and roadmap planning.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of total experience in software or AI engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI or LLM development.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, API development, NLP fundamentals, embeddings, vector search, text processing, document intelligence, and model evaluation and tuning.
- Experience with at least one of Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI.
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks and basic understanding of MLOps or DevOps pipelines.
- Procurement or supply chain domain experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay procurement lifecycles is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Sirion is desirable.
