Responsibilities
- Build reliable and scalable tools and frameworks supporting autonomous vehicle development.
- Lead technical and architecture discussions with researchers and engineers.
- Mentor software engineers through code reviews, technical design reviews, and software development guidance.
- Assist with task planning and estimation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners while building software frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience reading and developing production-quality software.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, or a similar technical field, or an MS/PhD in a related field.
- Experience with Python, Go, C++, or Rust.
- Experience working collaboratively on a common codebase.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and contribute as an open-minded, collaborative team member.
- Preferred experience includes C++ programming for real-world robotic systems, robotics or machine learning, Linux/Unix environments, Docker, Git workflows, automated testing, distributed systems, data processing, parallel computing, software performance and optimization, concurrency, system design, algorithms, data structures, and low-level threading.
