Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and delivery of software features, services, APIs, or developer tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product partners to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Write maintainable code and develop automated tests for product quality and reliability.
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues using debugging tools, logs, metrics, and other data.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, technical discussions, and retrospectives.
- Apply software engineering principles to improve product performance, reliability, scalability, security, and usability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for learning, research, problem-solving, and execution while validating their outputs.
- Communicate technical ideas, progress, and findings with teammates and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, with graduation no earlier than April 2027.
- Programming experience in one or more languages such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go through coursework, projects, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, or prior work.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented or functional programming, and software design.
- Experience building, testing, or debugging software.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version-control tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, plus curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to cloud technologies, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, databases, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, SQL, NoSQL databases, automated testing, continuous integration and deployment, monitoring, software quality practices, generative AI, large language models, or AI agents.
