Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of backend components such as payroll and tax processing engines.
- Build and maintain services and APIs using Go, C#, or other modern languages.
- Partner closely with frontend engineers to design APIs and data models.
- Contribute to frontend development for the payroll SaaS product.
- Design and maintain services to integrate with partner platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support the development of scalable and reliable microservices.
- Participate in code reviews and apply best practices.
- Ensure features are delivered with quality and within timelines.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with modern frontend applications like React or Vue preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go or Python.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Interest in working with Kubernetes-based environments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
