Base Salary
$116k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and optimize automated test frameworks for complex product areas.
- Develop and maintain automated API, UI, and integration test suites.
- Lead test strategy development, risk analysis, and quality planning for major features and systems.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve continuous testing processes.
- Identify systemic quality issues, test coverage gaps, and cross-team process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and quality leaders on quality initiatives and release planning.
- Mentor junior SDETs and QA team members and provide technical guidance on testing best practices.
- Review code and test cases for quality and maintainability.
- Maintain test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
- Investigate complex defects and production issues using debugging and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
- Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages and test automation frameworks.
- Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or RestAssured.
- Strong expertise in API, UI, and integration testing.
- Proficiency integrating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with test strategy development, risk analysis, and test architecture.
- Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of database systems and advanced SQL.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as DataDog and NewRelic.
- Excellent cross-functional communication, written and verbal communication, and mentorship skills.
