Base Salary
$150k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed on named customer projects and own them from discovery and design through build, deployment, and verification.
- Build idempotent, resumable, and auditable migration and integration pipelines on Temporal.
- Model and load customer accounting data into Postgres and reconcile it against existing systems.
- Build internal tooling to eliminate recurring one-off work.
- Feed customer-specific patterns back into the core product and productize or hand off permanent capabilities.
- Shorten the path from customer request to shipped functionality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience shipping production full-stack software end to end and unsupervised.
- Experience with Django and Django REST Framework, including advanced Postgres usage beyond ORM defaults, query-plan analysis, and live-data migrations.
- Experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience with durable workflows; Temporal is preferred and Celery is an acceptable alternative.
- Direct customer exposure, including scoping problems with customers and shipping solutions against them.
- Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, rate limits, and reconciling disagreeing systems.
- High agency and a strong work ethic.
- Accounting, ERP, or fintech domain knowledge is preferred, including double-entry accounting, charts of accounts, close, AP/AR, or revenue recognition.
- Prior forward-deployed, applied, or special-projects experience is preferred.
- Good judgment about when to ship a script versus build a system is preferred.
