Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-throughput batch and streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and ETL technologies.
- Build a unified analytics engine for large-scale data processing using Apache Spark and related tools.
- Develop analytical data models for time-series data, financial metrics, and trading activity.
- Implement and manage analytical databases with cost-aware architecture, including ClickHouse, MongoDB, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
- Build idempotent pipelines with backfill and reconciliation capabilities and monitor data quality, freshness, and reliability.
- Design and operate internal AI platforms serving multiple trading teams.
- Build reusable RAG pipelines, prompt-management tooling, self-service workflows, and production agent systems using LangGraph, A2A, and MCP.
- Implement trading analytics metrics including PnL, risk, balance, and trade reconciliation, with time-series visualization and dashboarding.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of production experience with both Python and Java in high-performance environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, data structures, algorithms, data integrity, accuracy, and performance optimization.
- Expertise with Linux, GitHub, AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with large-scale complex datasets in financial or trading contexts.
- Advanced SQL skills, including window functions and query optimization, plus database design and infrastructure support.
- Experience with workflow and messaging orchestration tools such as Airflow, Jenkins, and AMPS, and with Kafka and Flink in production.
- Experience designing trading analytics metrics, reconciliation, backfill workflows, retrieval-system evaluation, RAG optimization, LLMOps, and production AI agent frameworks.
- Preferred experience in trading systems, quantitative finance, financial technology, cryptocurrency markets, DeFi, market data, REST APIs, or WebSockets.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, cross-team collaboration, reliability focus, and ability to work under pressure are preferred.
