Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Go.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and architects to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to improve performance and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience with significant backend technology experience.
- Proficiency in Java and Go with a deep understanding of software development principles.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA; familiarity with Gradle, Maven, and jOOQ is advantageous.
- Ability to develop, consume, and evolve web service APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and MariaDB and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and secure coding methodologies.
- Commitment to unit testing and delivering high-quality code.
- Knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and code signing is a preferred qualification.
