Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain shared data platform infrastructure, data pipeline frameworks, reusable templates, and developer tooling.
- Administer and support Databricks and Snowflake environments, including monitoring, access management, cost monitoring, governance, and query performance analysis.
- Implement and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code for data platform components.
- Maintain and monitor Kafka-based streaming infrastructure and support reliable batch and streaming workloads.
- Monitor platform health, respond to alerts, participate in incident response and post-mortems, and improve platform reliability.
- Write documentation, runbooks, and operational guides for platform users and operators.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, BI, data science, and ML teams to translate needs into platform improvements.
- Evaluate tools and frameworks, conduct proof-of-concepts, participate in code reviews, and contribute to platform projects.
Requirements
- Require 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related technical role.
- Require familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and hands-on exposure to data infrastructure.
- Require solid SQL understanding and proficiency in at least one data engineering programming language, with Python preferred.
- Require basic understanding of batch processing, scheduling, and data modeling, plus an interest in deepening that knowledge.
- Require familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD fundamentals, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Some infrastructure-as-code exposure is required; Terraform experience is a plus.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Kafka, Kinesis, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, modern data stack tooling, MLOps or LLM Ops, data governance, data quality, and observability tooling.
- Should be able to learn technical skills quickly, communicate clearly, and collaborate across technical teams.
