Base Salary
$165k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement key features for the development team.
- Rapidly deliver value by pushing features to the AWS-hosted SaaS environment daily.
- Provide technical and product expertise within the team and organization.
- Communicate effectively about project status and technical issues.
- Participate in the agile process and work to improve team capabilities.
- Support production operations of the Jellyfish product.
- Foster a culture of growth and inclusion within the team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building SaaS products with a focus on Back End development.
- Strong skills in Python and experience with Django for production software systems.
- Expertise in data modeling in relational databases and familiarity with other database technologies.
- Experience with scaling, performance, and benchmarking of APIs and data processing systems.
- Fluency with tools like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code for fast development.
- Interest in or experience with growth-stage startups.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
