Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents running in production across industries including finance, healthcare, and commerce.
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup leaders to understand business challenges and develop scalable solutions.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
- Develop agent frameworks, architectures, self-service capabilities, and generative agent features.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and a focus on shipping.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
- Founder or founding-engineer experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing roles or technical project leadership with external stakeholders is preferred.
