Responsibilities
- Design and implement workflow integrations connecting Digital Twins to enterprise systems and building-management technologies.
- Develop secure Model Context Protocol tools that allow large language models to query and update Digital Twins.
- Build REST APIs for agentic workflows to trigger operations, query sensor data, and interact with external systems.
- Implement automation pipelines for standard operating procedures, presets, incident playbooks, and task dispatch.
- Apply human-in-the-loop principles, audit trails, permissions, authentication, and safeguards for critical operations.
- Collaborate with the AI Systems Architect, product team, and facility-management partners to translate requirements into scalable integrations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend or integration engineering experience with a proven record of building APIs and integration platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with code, low-code, or no-code integration tools.
- Strong proficiency in REST API design and implementation using Node.js, Python, Go, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating ERP, CMMS, IoT, or building-management systems, including platforms such as Honeywell or Johnson Controls.
- Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and REST is a significant advantage.
- Comfort with OAuth, API keys, encryption, audit logging, and security best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across engineering, product, and business teams.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with LLMs or AI agents, built-environment or facility-management software, and APIs for Revit, SketchUp, Grasshopper, or 3D platforms.
