Responsibilities
- Own and improve core wallet backend modules for address management, asset synchronization, transaction construction, broadcasting, confirmation, gas estimation, nonce management, and transaction-state tracking.
- Build transaction and on-chain interaction scenarios including transfers, token approvals, contract interactions, cross-chain transactions, swaps, DApp connections, and signature requests.
- Research, design, and implement integrations with public chains, Layer 2 networks, and asset standards while accounting for chain-specific transaction, signing, fee, confirmation, node, and security requirements.
- Support operational stability through monitoring, alerting, rate limiting, graceful degradation, retries, compensation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and systemic incident fixes.
- Own projects through design, development, testing, launch, and follow-up while coordinating with product, QA, frontend, infrastructure, and backend teams.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, optimization, documentation, post-incident analysis, and mentoring less-experienced teammates.
- Use AI coding tools for code comprehension, scaffolding, testing, review, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their output.
Requirements
- Approximately 5–10 years of Java backend experience with strong knowledge of collections, concurrency, thread pools, the JVM, network communication, and performance issues.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, or comparable backend stacks, with the ability to independently design and build medium-to-large backend modules.
- Experience designing complex or high-concurrency systems using concepts such as idempotency, retries, compensation, caching, message queues, distributed locks, consistency, rate limiting, and service degradation.
- Ability to independently own modules or projects, resolve dependencies and risks, exercise judgment on ambiguous problems, and drive work through delivery.
- Experience with wallets, blockchain, trading platforms, on-chain data services, or related systems, including knowledge of addresses, keys, mnemonics, signing, broadcasting, confirmation, gas, and nonce management.
- Familiarity with at least one of EVM, Tron, or Solana and token standards such as ERC-20 and TRC-20.
- Strong security awareness covering private keys, signing, permissions, replay protection, authentication, tamper resistance, sensitive-data protection, least privilege, malformed input, duplicate requests, privilege bypass, and data leakage.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and thread or memory analysis.
- Willingness to use AI coding tools and basic understanding of prompts, context management, RAG, AI agents, and MCP, or willingness to learn.
- Preferred qualifications include chain and asset-standard integrations, WalletConnect, DApp Browser, MPC, multisig, hardware wallets, TEE-based key security, swaps, staking, bridges, DeFi aggregation, risk controls, RPC calls, block scanning, chain reorganizations, JVM tuning, and complex incident management.
