Base Salary
$190k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope and lead ML initiatives from opportunity identification to production deployment.
- Design, develop, and optimize ML models for document parsing and intelligent automation.
- Build and maintain robust, observable, and scalable production ML pipelines.
- Integrate and fine-tune third-party AI services while managing trade-offs.
- Analyze datasets to uncover patterns and validate model performance.
- Help develop the AI roadmap, balancing technical and product trade-offs.
- Drive architectural decisions for ML systems and establish best practices.
- Mentor engineering team members on ML software development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in ML or applied AI.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful ML systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks.
- Experience with LLMs in production, including fine-tuning and evaluation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to meet product and tech objectives.
- Experience mentoring and leading teams, preferably in a startup.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to both technical and product success.
