Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality for the TRANSAXpay core payments-processing platform.
- Develop and support enhancements to real-time transaction-processing systems based on customer and prospect requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.
- Support modernization efforts as services migrate from data-center-hosted to cloud-hosted environments.
- Translate requirements into well-structured, bug-free code.
- Provide coaching and support to team members and mentor more junior engineers.
- Participate in peer reviews of designs and code.
- Use security scans and related tools to support software security.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Manager.
- Proficiency in C, C++, DDL, SQL, and basic IP networking.
- Ability to translate requirements into well-structured, bug-free code.
- Clear communication, strong problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, accountability, and ownership.
- Knowledge of the payment-card industry, particularly EMV and UKCA (APACS) standards.
- Interest in Global Payments products and the wider payments industry.
