Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and develop software modifications based on requirements.
- Develop modifications and perform custom code uplift using technical design documents.
- Follow Blue Yonder WMS development guidelines and complete peer reviews of code and documentation.
- Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for software changes.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, including providing code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment-related needs across customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline, including MCA or an MSc in Computer Science.
- 3–5 years of total experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, ExtJS, and PL/SQL.
- Prior experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or another WMS platform is an added advantage.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience using Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub, and Copilot.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source control systems, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command-line usage.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and build professional relationships.
