Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and develop software modifications based on requirements.
- Develop modifications and perform custom code uplift using technical design documents and Blue Yonder WMS guidelines.
- Conduct peer reviews of code and documentation.
- Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for software changes.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, including providing code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment-related needs during customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline such as MCA or an MSc in Computer Science.
- 3–5 years of total experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Ext JS, and PL/SQL.
- Prior Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platform experience is preferred.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source code control systems, and command-line operating systems.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Windows, Linux, Unix, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with Cursor AI, Replit AI, and GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed decisions, own delivery, communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and pursue continuous improvement.
