Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and develop software modifications based on requirements.
- Develop modules and perform custom code uplift using technical design documents.
- Follow Blue Yonder WMS guidelines and ensure code and documentation receive peer review.
- Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for software changes.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, including code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Support customer go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment needs on-site or remotely and across customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and take ownership of end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also listed.
- 3–5 years of total experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, ExtJS, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, Red Prairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is an advantage.
- Experience in test management and test execution.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source code control, and command-line usage.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools including Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub, and Copilot.
- Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.
