Responsibilities
- Develop software modifications and perform custom code uplift from technical design documents.
- Align development and review activities with Blue Yonder WMS guidelines and complete peer reviews of code and documentation.
- Assess risks, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for software changes.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects, including implementing code fixes and unit tests within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment needs across customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline, including MCA or an MSc in Computer Science.
- Three to five years of total experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, ExtJS, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, Red Prairie WMS, or another WMS platform is advantageous.
- Experience in test management and test execution.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source control, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems and command-line usage.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Familiarity with Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub Copilot, and related AI tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.
