Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of Exegy’s client portal.
- Assess technical debt, web performance, and UI/UX responsiveness.
- Design and build responsive client-facing features using modern frameworks.
- Develop and maintain robust backend API integrations and microservices.
- Establish scalable web development standards and CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with Product Management to create intuitive web applications.
- Elevate application security, accessibility, and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide lasting fixes.
- Provide code reviews and technical mentorship to peer engineers.
Requirements
- Strong professional track record as a Web Developer or Full-Stack Web Engineer.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks, preferably React.
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs and backend web services.
- Proficiency with Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Node.js for backend development.
- Experience with relational databases and web application security.
- Mastery of modern web standards, CSS/HTML architecture, and responsive design.
- Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and automated testing tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex technical projects.
