Responsibilities
- Build understanding of computer-vision pipelines, mobile application surfaces, and member journeys.
- Define and execute testing for new features and improvements with clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Create and execute test plans covering unit, integration, end-to-end, automated, and manual testing.
- Expand automated test coverage across critical member flows to detect regressions earlier and reduce manual effort.
- Improve and maintain test automation frameworks to increase reliability and streamline release readiness.
- Collaborate with computer-vision researchers, product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate quality into new interactive experiences.
- Architect validation plans for computer-vision capabilities and complex real-time user interactions.
- Serve as a quality leader, evolve testing practices and standards, share best practices, and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience testing end-user applications with hands-on manual and automated testing.
- At least 2 years of experience testing mobile applications, including React Native, native iOS, or native Android applications.
- Experience creating test plans and driving coverage across unit, integration, end-to-end, automated, and manual testing.
- Experience building, improving, or maintaining test automation frameworks is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience creating and executing comprehensive test plans for new product capabilities is preferred.
- At least 3 years operating as a senior or lead QA partner and driving testing strategy or quality practices for a team is preferred.
- Experience using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation, tooling, or debugging is preferred.
- Experience testing interactive mobile experiences such as video games, AR/VR applications, or other real-time, motion-sensitive products is preferred.
- Experience testing computer-vision-based applications or features is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related technical field.
